"Arrows of hate have been aimed at me too. But they have never hit me because somehow they belonged to another world with which I have no connection whatsoever." ~ Albert Einstein
I love this quote so much. Can you imagine truly allowing ourselves to live in the world that we see? To allow our beliefs to define the world that we personally inhabit?
Personally, I think I have tried very hard all of my life to fit into the versions of the world that I see others have around me. Maybe it's because I see the effects of their actions. Could be war, injustice, cruelty, etc. Because I see it around me, I assume that perhaps I am supposed to integrate and understand it myself too.
Of course, this brings us into that world. Suddenly the opinions of the people who created that world (or who are stuck in it) are allowed to affect us. We feel we must spar with them. We feel like we must explain ourselves to them. This causes a great desire to escape and retreat from "humanity".
But what if we could just love our own version of life? What if our version of reality is EXACTLY the version of reality that we are meant to experience? What if this version and perspective is perfect for the journey we are meant to take?
Is this clarity what allowed Einstein to create what he did? Is this what allowed his genius to flow? Is this what helped him stay clear of the world-views of others and therefore expand into the infinite possibilities from his vantage point?
What would this feel like for you? To truly live according to the beliefs and understanding that is within you. To create the world that you know is true INSIDE. To let others have their world view and experience.
To truly live your life... happily... adventurously... expanding into the infinity that is possible when we live from our own perspective.
